Why Can’t I Arm My Intrusion Alarm System?
April 24, 2012
Learn the most likely reasons you are seeing "Zone Fault" on your keypad.
Intrusion alarm systems need to have all of the zones clear before arming the system. What this means is, if a door is open or there are people moving in the area of motion detectors, the system will not arm – it is protecting you against a potential false alarm. When you are about to arm your alarm system, make sure all of your doors are closed tightly and locked, and that everyone is out of the house or business. If not, you will likely see the words "Zone Fault" on your keypad as you try to arm. Call or stop by Lappen Security to learn more!
