Land Line Users Can Now Cut The Cord! (News Release: August 2011)
8/15/2011- Little Chute, WI
Lappen Security Products has announced that new cellular communications technology for their burglar and fire alarm panels has been fully tested and is ready for installation at all of their Commercial, Residential and Industrial facilities.
Cellular Communication Devices have been installed in several of Lappen Security’s customers already and they have proven to be a successful back up to land lines in the event that the phone lines are effected or cut by storm damage or intruders. Cellular systems have also proven to save money and provide a very reliable communications system if customers choose to use this as their primary or only communications device. By having the cellular communications device on an alarm system, should an alarm go off, emergency calls would then have the best chance of connecting with the central station monitoring service.
Brian Schweitzer, intrusion and fire alarm specialist for Lappen Security Products says "these cellular transmitters are a great solution for anyone looking to get rid of or have a back up for their home land line, provided they are in an area that gets good cellular reception."
Matthew Bent, sales manager for Lappen Security Products says "adding a cellular unit to your current alarm panel might cost a little more up front, but in the long run, if you are paying for a land line only because of your alarm, this will end up saving you money!"
Lappen Security Products has a showroom at 2300 W. Main St in Little Chute, WI that is open from 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday-Friday and has a full range of all of their intrusion and fire alarms products available for viewing. Lappen Security also welcomes telephone inquiries and will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding this terrific new technology; the telephone number is 920-734-3027.

Rawhide Boys Ranch Honors Lappen Security for Support and Donation (May 2010)

After partnering with Rawhide Boys Ranch of New London, Wisconsin, Lappen Security received special recognition from the program's co-founders Bart and Cherry Starr.
Rawhide has been helping at-risk teen boys turn their lives around for 45 years. In 2010, the organization came to Lappen seeking help with a security plan to maximize facility safety. Lappen installed a Paxton Access Control System at all buildings and re-keyed the entire facility to help staff gain key control. All labor for both projects was donated by Lappen.
To thank Lappen for its support and donation, Scott Sawinski of Rawhide presented the staff with a handmade wooden football with an engraved thank you message from Bart and Cherry Starr.
