What is the Best Home Security System?
When talking about home burglar alarms and security systems, the terminology can get a little confusing. But whether itšs referred to as a home intruder, burglar alarm or intrusion system, each product is designed to do virtually the same thing: protect people and property.
Adding Cellular Technology
There is now an excellent alternative to traditional land line phone technology available for alarm communications: Cellular communications technology for burglar and fire alarm panels. Learn more from our August 2011 News Release:
Land Line Users Can Now Cut The Cord!
Lappen Security Products has announced that new cellular communications technology for their burglar and fire alarm panels has been fully tested and is ready for installation at all of their Commercial, Residential and Industrial facilities.
Cellular Communication Devices have been installed in several of Lappen Securitys customer facilities already and they have proven to be a successful backup to land lines in the event that the phone lines are effected or cut by storm damage or intruders. Cellular systems have also proven to save money and provide a very reliable communications system if customers choose to use this as their primary or only communications device. By having the cellular communications device on an alarm system, should an alarm go off, emergency calls would then have the best chance of connecting with the central station monitoring service.
Brian Schweitzer, intrusion and fire alarm specialist for Lappen Security Products says "these cellular transmitters are a great solution for anyone looking to get rid of or have a backup for their home land line, provided they are in an area that gets good cellular reception."
Matthew Bent, sales manager for Lappen Security Products says "adding a cellular unit to your current alarm panel might cost a little more up front, but in the long run, if you are paying for a land line only because of your alarm, this will end up saving you money!"
Lappen Security Products has a showroom at 2300 W. Main St in Little Chute, WI, that is open from 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday-Friday and has a full range of all of their intrusion and fire alarms products available for viewing. Lappen Security also welcomes telephone inquiries and will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding this terrific new technology; the telephone number is 920-734-3027.
