The Owners

Mike Wildenberg - Owner

Lappen Lock Service was purchased by Mike & Sharon Wildenberg, in the June 1986. At that time the business was solely a locksmith business. A few years later the name was changed to Lappen Security Products and many other security products and services were added. Lappen has become one of a select few companies that now offer a complete line of security products and services.

Lappen offers many options for home and commercial security, including Access Control, Burglar/Fire Alarms, Fire Alarm Monitoring, Burglar Alarm Monitoring, CCTV surveillance systems, Perimeter security devices, Digital Recording, Gates & Turnstiles, Commercial Locksmith services, and Photo ID. Lappen has grown steadily year after year, thanks to the dedication of its staff, and customers that realize that quality products and customer service matter most.

Sharon Wildenberg - Office Manager

Sharon joined the Lappen Security Products, Inc. staff in December 2002 as Office Manager. Sharon handles employee benefits and is in charge of servicing the monitored Burglar and Fire Alarm customers. She enjoys working side by side with her husband and is proud to be part of the company he has worked so hard to build to what it is today.

Sharon has 12 years experience as a Customer Service Representative in the insurance industry. She previously worked for an agency that marketed Principal Mutual Life Insurance products and was in charge of the Individual Health Insurance and Medicare Supplement Department. She has her Life and Health Insurance license, which she keeps current, and enjoys administering the employee benefits.

Sharon likes working one on one with Lappen's current and potential new Burglar and Fire Alarm customers. Her experience and problem solving skills enhances her ability to professionally service their monitored Burglar and Fire Alarm customers.
